The ER on Seguine ave is the worst. Every time I had to go there the admit you quick and then forget about you for 2 hours. They don't even come over to give you an update of what is going on. I could hear them laughing and joking by the desk so it wasn't like they were busy. The 1st time was with a torn ACL, they put me in a wheelchair and stuck me in the back corner room and left me there for 3 hours w/o any pain medication or anything.

I was woken up at 4:30am by by son who had a 103.2 fever. I got to the hospital around 4:45 and I was amazed by the staff. I was getting ready for the hell of an emergency room with one very tired 11 year old and a very sick 7 year old. Instead, we were greeted right away. The nurse sat my son down right away to get his vitals and moved him right into the bed. The physician came within 15 minutes to check on my son and then asked another physician to check him as well to make sure the diagnosis was agreed upon. My son was diagnosed with Croup. He was given meds and we were out within an hour. But these nurses went out of their way to make my kids feel comfortable. They stayed and had full blown conversations, asked if they needed juice about 4 times within that one hour. They even gave my older one juice every time the younger one asked even though he was not a patient. So thank you ER staff for being amazing!! You guys were amazing!!

A while ago, I had to go to the ER. The service was wonderful. My wait time was literary three minutes. After that I was admitted. Nurses and the attending doctor were excellent.

Went for a simple ultrasound and again almost 3 hours and I finally just walked out because I was in pain. I have never seen anything like it!

Staff at this hospital is very rude. No manners at all as well as very inconsiderate to the patients the person I am here with been here before 12:00 pm been admitted and still haven't gotten any food and when I addressed the issues the register nurse on duty was rude about it ..

My family and I were not please with how nurse Michelle from CCU treated my father after he suffered a stroke. She was very rude to him and the one time we asked her for help she was rude to us as well. Overall his experience was okay. I am glad he is back home and doing much better. Will definitely stick to SIUH North over South.
