Pretty good food, very over rated. Prices are crazy, I paidv$13 for 3 mini tacos. I was starving after that and it wasn't an appetizer. The soda was flat and they charge for refills. Don't believe the hype.
OMG. I loved this place. Right on a main thoroughfare, Bay St., Staten Island. I toured the Alice Austen House, and the staff recommended J's. So glad they did. Old school diner food, attentive staff. I had the spinach tomato omelette. It was huge, served with toast and home fries. Delicious. Really enjoyed this neighborhood place.
This is the best diner I've ever been too. The food is great. Great chef and beautiful wait staff. Highly recommended!
I should request a full $60 refund. Burgers not made as ordered. Too much onion, no other seasoning. Good French fries Roast beef wrap was grossly soggy and also lacked taste. The Texas toast grilled cheese was disgusting in taste and texture. The Hershey Zeppoles were wet and falling apart. As hungry as I was I ended up having cereal for lunch and cooking dinner.
