When I moved into the Silver Lake Apartments, I was concerned that a mission style computer armoire I wanted to buy, would not fit in the elevator for delivery, Paul made a cardboard template and brought it to the elevator to make sure it could be delivered. Talk about service above and beyond! Luckily there was just enough room, and I was able to purchase a very stunning piece of furniture. Over the years I have also bought an oak buffet and a small side table.
The process of buying furniture at Country Collections was extremely pleasurable and stress free. The owner Paul was very helpful, knowledgeable, and most of all very accommodating and patient. My wife and I made several visits to the store to choose fabrics and each time Paul graciously allowed us to take the samples home. He showed extreme patience during the many visits to decide on the right pieces we finally chose. I highly recommend the personal touch of the “small store” (although there is a large varied selection) experience over the larger furniture chain stores. His delivery was on time and the people he used were nothing but courteous and efficient in setting it up for us.
I have never had a better experience buying anything ever. Buying furniture tends to be a stressful process, you look and look, deal with pushy sales people who don't seem to know about the product and then have a inevitably disastrous delivery. Well, my experience buying a bed set from Paul at Country Collection was just the opposite. The floor room has a great variety, many more options than other places in NYC/NJ. My item Paul had different drawers to show the wood colors (because tiny swatches are never enough). Paul talked to us about the product and company. He didn't try and push a more expensive set on us which I appreciated. When it came time to purchase Paul was very responsive, and worked with me to achieve an important and tight deadline. The best part of the experience was the delivery. Paul came as a Forman to guide the delivery people. It made a world of difference, they were careful and diligent. I had just redone my floors and was a little worried about big furniture coming into the apartment. I had no reason to worry, there wasn’t a scratch or a ding on anything at all. They were some careful with everything and made sure everything was assembled and set up exactly how I wanted it. This was probably the best buying experience I have ever had. Actually I never visited the store, I was shopping for a Howard Miller kitchen clock where Country Collection Furniture was listed as the closest dealer to where I live. From my 1st call, I knew that I'm on the right track. Paul Godnig was extremely nice and helpful. He checked stock with the Company, and immediate arranged drop shipment to me. He was constantly informing me with the status of the shipment and doubled checked if it actually arrived. He then followed up with a phone call to see if everything is in working order. I highly recommend this place. Very honest, decent businessman with great customer service.

Honestly one of the best furniture experiences I've had in years. I bought a beautiful recliner and it was exactly what I was looking for. After lots of research online and visiting multiple other stores, I decided to place my order with Paul and was totally satisfied. My mom also bought a lovely Oak Bedroom Set that looks great but more important, is excellent quality. I'll be visiting again the next time I want to buy any furniture for my home.
