This place is incredible. Richie (the manager) goes above and beyond. I needed my ring (that was getting resized) to be here by a certain date. Due to holidays and all the delays and the extended work that needed to be done on it the ring was delayed. Richie made it happen. He ran to a different store, added gold to it himself to resize my ring and gave me a loaner ring until mine comes in. They seriously are incredible. The ring I got is so beautiful. I'm in Love. Can't say enough kind words about the store and especially him!!!
My husband and I purchased my diamond wedding band at Zales. We also purchased a two year warranty for the ring. The salesgirl was very friendly and helpful. At the end of our transaction, she showed us our receipt and put it in a plastic envelope with the paperwork from our warranty, which we assumed was the warranty we had just purchased. Four years after our purchase, one of the small diamonds in the band fell out. I found the receipt, still in the plastic envelope, and found a piece of paper that I never saw before. It was a lifetime warranty, IF I brought the ring in for inspection every six months. The manager would have signed the document every time it was inspected, and the ring would have been repaired for free. Unfortunately for us, THE SALESGIRL NEVER TOLD US ABOUT THIS OTHER WARRANTY and WE NEVER SAW THAT PIECE OF PAPER BEFORE. We had no idea that this existed, or I would have been in that store every six months. Needless to say, we were held responsible for paying for the cost of the diamond replacement, which was quoted at $275 for a 3 point diamond. We did not have the repair done by the Zales jeweler. We took the ring to a local family owned jeweler with a very good reputation (Casale Jewelers) and the cost was $10 a point, totaling $30. Zales really knows how to take advantage of its customers.
