Very nice to visit with small children. Simple trails to "hike" and little turtles and birds for the kids to enjoy.
The blue trail - northside, there was a huge tree that prevented us to complete the trail. The Blue Heron pond is very nice.
Always a peaceful walk through the woods
Great nature center. Staff is friendly. Take advantage of the tour guides. They are very knowledgeable and taught us so much on our tour. The pond here is home to so many animals, we have seen it many times but never realized how many animals call it home until our guide pointed them all out to us. Just amazing seeing this beauty in our own neighborhoods of Staten Island.
