Love this park. I stay with my boy till 10pm sometimes 1am. Great place for a picnic. I love to Bond with the kids not alot of people so it's quite. Sometimes you can see the fish in the lake. Its just a nice place to hang out with the family.
I love this park, its huge and has tons of things to do for adults and kids. They have parks, restaurants, paths, sprinklers, lakes, fishing, and mich to do. I love taking my kids here
Nice running and walking trails, some paved. Hilly areas can be chosen. Basketball courts, greens, scenic parks are available, as are pedal boats. Numerous bird species are present. Turtles can be observed from the walking bridge and shoreline. The Stonehouse is available for nice meals and evenings have a live musician or two seranade the guests.
Clove Lake Park is a beautiful place that has a lot to offer. It's a large park, for both active and passive recreation. Part of the park consists of woodlands and ponds, including Clove Lake. On the side of the park where there is more active recreational opportunity has basketball courts, a running track, and a baseball diamond near Clove Road and Victory Boulevard. At that side of the park there is also an ice skating rink. This part of the park also contains a playground, where there are sprinklers in the summer for young children. Also in the summer there are outdoor events for both children and adults, including outdoor concerts. The park also contains woodlands. These are good to go for a hike that is not too strenuous but enjoyable, and there are picnic tables within the wooded area of the park. The wooded part of the park is a wonderful place to observe wildlife, including wading Birds like the great blue heron and egrets. On the grounds of the park is a restaurant called The Stone House, which has beautiful views and a wonderful brunch on Sundays. I have been here on several occasions and was never disappointed. If you just want to go for a quick walk or a hike to clear your head, thus park is a great place to go.
