this was my second visit to Remedi Day Spa. my first experience was fair but i didn't think it was worth the 'spa' price. the music was loud and jumpy, not soft and soothing as i have experienced in other places.
my second visit was for a manicure. this time i was led into the Zen like waiting area where cucumber water and other goodies were available. the music was nice and the lights down low.
I had laser hair removable done at Remedi Spa by Sue. She did an excellent job, was very professional and pleasant. I was apprehensive at first but the experience was much better than expected.
my pedicure was wonderful but the girl didn't put a toe separator and one nail got smudged.
i won't be back as there are plenty of other places not 'spa like' that indeed offer a more relaxed setting for less money.
once you start your pedicure, however, the music blares again.
Very upset after more than 8 years coming to this spa, I get treated this way. I had an appointment for a facial and they called to cancel the appointment because my esthetician could not make it in. Which is fine I understood. However, they were supposed to call me back and reschedule and they never did. I emailed dawn and still have not heard back from anyone to reschedule my appointment or to even suggest someone else. I guess that is Staten Island for you. No one has customer service anymore.
Michele is simply the best. my 3rd visit for laser hair removal as she always goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable and always asks how you are feeling during your time in their. Very pleasant to deal with. the staff is very accommodating and always give you great service
Always clean, professional, prices are not too high. Services are great, relaxation room is comforting, locker area is neat.
