I like shopping here...no issues. Easy parking too.
KEY FOOD is a well known Super Market This particular store is clean and well managed..good selection of available items...it has every item needed for breakfast, lunch, dinner and beyond.
I shop here often it's close by and sale items are good...lately though I am not liking the selection of prepared food it use,to be,way better before
Back in the day ... Key Food was one of the "lesser" supermarket chains (along with C-Town & Met Food) in the NYC area ... somewhere squarely in the middle between PathMark/Waldbaums/Shop Rite and a corner bodega ... So i was a bit worried when they took over the property formerly occupied by King Kullen ... When I entered the newly opened Key Food, I found my fears were completely unwarranted ... Key Food has completely upped their game and expanded their stores to compete with the big boys ... I love their produce and seafood sections ... It has quickly become my "go to" supermarket ... very reasonably priced, compared to other chains.
Very clean store. And staff are very friendly and helpful.
Produce isn't handled well. Grainy tomatoes.. bruised everything. Poor selection. Poor selection of specialities unless it's Italian foods.
