The staff are friendly and kind, that is the only reason why I gave 2 stars instead of 1.
This is where I shop. It's convenient to where I live. Customer has always been great! The only problem I've had with this market is, I've had to return my meat on 2 occasions...other than that, I have no complaints.
Also pass a mop on that dirty floor once in a while... So dirty
First time since my wife and I moved to Staten Island, I couldn't believe how the sales are. When it was time to pay my wife asked the register tech. How long is the sale for? And the tech. Told her "It's not a sale, this is the prices for everyday shopping" Wow we could not believe! Wester Beef has loyal family..
The prices here are ridiculously high compared to Shoprite and Stop&Shop. I believe the reason is because of the neighborhood. They probably assume everyone is paying with EBT. Its wrong! Lower your prices and let people survive!
The nice lady in the yellow scarf help my mom last Saturday 12/10 79years old with her groceries with a lot of love. She was already done working but she didn't think twice to help. My mom send all the blessing above to that women with the scarf. All prayers and respect to her. Thanks for being a nice person and helping others. My mom don't stop talking about you. Thank you thank you is nice to see people still care and help the elderly. My mom says you was in your knees fixing boxes by register one and you stop doing whatever you had to do to help her with her groceries. It means a lot to me
Worst food store in Staten island. 75 customers and 2 registers open all the time. God forbid someone doesn't have enough money on their EBT card. You're stuck there for 20 minutes. Never again. Ill spend the $1.35 on the bus and go to Top Tomato on Bay St. I even saved $5 by going to top tomato. Its not the aggravation going to the beef anymore. Always check any meat you buy too. Customers put meat on shelves and employees just throw it back in the cooler. At least 10 times we've brought home spoiled or rotten meat
